Saatchi & Saatchi London celebrated a successful run at this year’s PIAF awards in Prague for Deutsche Telekom ‘Sea Hero Quest’. As well as winning the Grand Prix, the most prestigious award of the event, the team won three Golds in Media Engagement, Creative Use of Technologies and Audience Engagement, as well as a Silver in The Principle of Game.
‘Sea Hero Quest’ was launched in 2016, and the PIAF Awards has added to the impressive haul of international awards already won for this multi-platform mobile game. The game integrates science and gaming to help researchers fight dementia through telling the story of a son trying to save his father’s memories.
The concept of ‘Sea Hero Quest’ was to empower people to game for good and was made a reality by partnering with world-renowned experts at UCL. Since launch the game has already seen a breakthrough when the data proved the link between navigation and the onset of dementia.
