Saatchi & Saatchi London Celebrate 2016 Eurobest Success

Saatchi & Saatchi London has had a successful run at the most recent Eurobest Awards held in Rome this past weekend, with a Gold, Silver and Bronze for HomeAway and Deutsche Telekom.

The HomeAway ‘Eiffel Tower All Yours’ collaboration between Saatchi & Saatchi London and Paris led the charge securing both a Gold win in ‘Outdoor: Non Standard Indoor Advertising’ and a Bronze in ‘Promo: Launch/Re Launch’. This campaign ran as a global online competition for four lucky winners to spend a night in the iconic Eiffel Tower.

The accommodation in the Eiffel Tower was designed by French interior designer Benoit Leleu who created a first-of-its-kind living quarters, complete with bedrooms and a lounging area with stunning views. The ‘Eiffel Tower All Yours’ competition built on the ‘It’s Your Vacation, Why Share It?’ marketing campaign that highlighted the plight of sharing holidays with strangers.

Saatchi & Saatchi London also won a Silver in ‘Mobile: Social for Mobile’ for the successful ‘Sea Hero Quest’ mobile game for Deutsche Telekom, adding to the impressive 2016 awards haul for this ground-breaking work.  ‘Sea Hero Quest’ is the world’s first mobile game where anyone can help scientists fight dementia and has already managed to get an impressive 9,500 years worth of data for scientists to research.

‘Sea Hero Quest’ is a multi-level adventure game in which the player takes the role of a sea explorer’s son traversing the seas, looking for and collecting the lost pieces of their father’s ocean journal. For many people living with dementia, one of the first effects is spatial awareness, and the concept of this game was motivated by the desire to empower people to game for good.
