In the 2018 Gunn Report, the annual list of the world’s best creative ideas and agencies based on creative awards, Saatchi & Saatchi London has been listed as the 2nd most creatively awarded UK agency, and the 15th most awarded in the world.
The newly formatted report, the Gunn 100, tracks the performance of campaigns, brands and agencies in more than 40 advertising creativity competitions around the world. The rankings are a benchmark for creative excellence, allowing marketers to compare their performance with their peers.
Included among the most awarded campaigns of 2017 was Saatchi & Saatchi London’s Magenta Unleashed campaign for Deutsche Telekom, ranking 15th on the list of most awarded Global campaigns. Magenta Unleashed, using the revolutionary Lenz App at the heart of the campaign, harnessed the iconic Deutsche Telekom colour to create a new medium for entertainment, in conjunction with the world’s only virtual band, Gorillaz. By using Chroma Keying technology, it works by identifying colours in the real world that are similar or match magenta to activate the app and exclusive Gorillaz content for the viewer.
